13-14 May 2020, Berlin. The conference and exhibition enabling the commercialisation of disruptive sensor technologies. This event will bring together material suppliers, component providers, sensor manufacturers and end users. With a program selected by analysts and industry experts, Sensors Europe is the place to find the technologies and business partners to create the most innovative products.

Sensor Trends Covered

  • Organic and quantum dot image sensing: Materials innovation, solution processing and patterning and hybrid integration to enable sensor enhancements or new applications. Innovations here are enabling novel sensors, creating thin, large-area, and robust
  • Ubiquitous gas sensors: A step-change in the cost, size, sensitivity, and selectivity of gas sensors is taking place which will expand the market for gas sensors. Innovations include novel materials, new production methods including printing or hybrid on-wafer integration, and new ways to analyse and use the data.
  • Innovations in biosensors: The use of printing is common in biosensors. Examples are as diverse as glucose test strips to inkjet-printed DNA microarrays. Here, the key trends in biosensors intersecting with printed electronics, continuous monitoring, and wearable technology/skin patches are highlighted.
  • Wearable sensors and skin patches: The change in sensor form factor has opened vast new opportunities in wellness, sports, and medical applications. Innovations here are enabling new easy-to-wear designs, continuous patient monitoring, and patient-centric data analytics.
  • Flexible, printed, and/or large-area sensors: New form factors of electronics (such as flexible and stretchable electronics) allows new design freedoms of sensors, creating new market opportunities.
  • RFID sensors: RFID is one of the lowest cost and highest volume electronic products sold. Beyond identification only, RFID tags increasingly are incorporating sensor platforms in novel ways. The options are covered at this event.
